Still researchers are deprived of the tools that may increase the total productive hours, and do what they do the best, Research!

PhytoTaxa is a web app that helps people to learn and enjoy botany in a simple and interactive way. It is targeted towards people who have no or limited knowledge about botany.
Botany is more than just a field of study. It is a passion. A passion that we want people to share in the right manner!
This web app can be used to search for plants by their scientific names, common names or family names. You can also search for plants by their country of origin or the continent they are found in. You can view photos and descriptions of all the plants you searched for in your 'collection'. You can also add additional information about the plants along with your own personal notes. You can save all the plants you are interested in to check for updates later on. The app will automatically notify you when there is new information about those plants.
